Geneva (Williams) Freeman

Let the record show something wonderful happened, Geneva Williams, was born September 20, 1930. She was the first of four children born to the late Mr. Less and Vera Williams. She confessed her belief in Christ at an early age and joined Sweet Home Baptist Church in Five Point Alabama. She received her education at Five Point Public Schools and Birmingham Community College.

She united in Holy Matrimony to Robert Lewis later Rev. George Dewey Freeman who also predeceases her.

Mrs. Geneva, 86 of Chattanooga peacefully departed her life September 14, 2017. She leaves to cherish her daughters, Jennie Lewis of Chesapeake, Virginia & Vivian Freeman White; sons, Stephen (Terrie) Freeman & Sylvester (Ameasha) Freeman of Chattanooga; 13 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mary Williams, and Luella Williams and many nieces and nephews.
