Jason was an outstanding Intramural umpire and employee. His impact on teaching college students rules and mechanics of the game left a profound impact on the students and staff at Carolina. He displayed his love for higher education and interest in helping students succeed in various areas of their collegiate experience through his involvements on campus. He was one of our very best. RIP Senor Ramos.

Jason was an amazing man. I always looked forward to seeing him when I visited my friends on campus and I wish we had more time with him. I am praying for your family. There are no words to truly express how I feel, how you must feel. There are so many little sayings of his I will carry with me. He touched the lives of so many people. God Bless. <3

My Heart And Condolences Goes Out To The Family, Friends, And Love Ones Of Jason. I Have Known And Worked With Him For The Last Two Years. Jason Has Impacted My Life In Such An Awesome Way. I Am So Thankful That I Got A Chance To Experience His Awesomeness. When Jason Came To DSC He Had Three Major Goals. He Succeeded All Of Them And Some. Jason Presence Will Forever Live. I Will Continue To Keep Everyone In My Prayers. May God Bless Everyone.

Dear Ramos Family
My prayers go out to your family. I have heard so many positive things about Jason from my daughter, Kelsey, a student @ DSC. Jason quickly recognized the string of BUCKEYES in her car and realized that she had Ohio roots too. His name frequently came up in her calls home as a positive influence in her college career. I am certain that he will watch over his residents for many years to come. God Bless you.

Many prayers and thoughts are lifted up for you and your extended family at friends, along with all the staff, faculty and students Jason touched with his life and his genuine joy. I have rich memories working with him, laughing with him and taking the time to talk. I pray that your pain will temper and that you can celebrate the short time you had with him and that your memories are full and rich. He loved his family and found joy in serving and enriching the lives of the young people he encountered. Blessings to you as tears turn into days of hope and rich stories of how Jason's life was not lived in vain.

Dear Ramos Family, I never got to meet Jason but spoke to him on the phone several times while arranging housing for our son, Nick who is an incoming freshman at DSC. He was always helpful and always cheerful. I could tell over the phone he had a kind spirit. I am sure he touched the lives of many people in a positive way. We are so sorry for this senseless tragedy and the loss of your beloved. Sincerely, the Posey Family

The Chattanooga area is heartbroken by the tragic accident that took your loved one. I understand he was a wonderful young man. Tennessee strives to prevent accidents. But, we cannot control negligent drivers. I am so sorry! My sincere condolences to your family!
