Robert E. Glenn (Bobby), age 82, native of Nashville TN passed away on February 22, 2018 in Chattanooga, TN
Bobby was born June 11,1935 to the late Robert and Irene Glenn in Columbia TN, and spent his first 8 years of life on the family farm in Lynnville TN.
The family moved to Nashville in 1943, and attended Belmont Heights Baptist Church. Bobbie graduated from West End High where he played center on the 1954 Championship Basketball team. After one year of college, he went to work for Baird Ward Printing Company in Nashville as a printer, retiring after 35 years of service. Bobby will be remembered for his uncanny way of making those around him laugh and smile. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Beverly Glenn, his brother Frank Glenn and his Stepmother Margaret Glenn. Bobby is survived by his brother James Kay Glenn of Chattanooga Tn, sisters Peggy Herbig of Niceville, Fl, and Suzanne Cornell Slusher of Lenoir City Tn; his nephews, Sam Cunningham and Rick Glenn, nieces Dr. Kathleen Herbig, Christy Lee, Katie Glenn, Beth Glenn; Cousin Imogene Ross of Nashville and dear friend, Nellie Sears, of Chattanooga. Services will be in Lynnville TN, at a later date.
