Gregory Treadway Obituary

Gregory S. Treadway, 62, passed away August 28, 2021.  Gregg was born March 5, 1959 in Florence, AL to Steve and Bonnie Treadway.  He grew up in Martin, TN.

Gregg was predeceased by his father, Vernon S. Treadway. He is survived by his wife, Tamara Treadway, mother, Bonnie Treadway, brother, Vic (Mollie) Treadway, his daughter Ashley (Matt) Calloway, his two precious grandchildren, Bella and McKenna Calloway, niece Lauren (Brian) Goergen, nephew Luke Treadway and step-son Alex Porter.

Gregg graduated Westview High School in Martin, TN in 1977. He began his corporate career with Walmart,working for the “great” Sam Walton whom he respected and admired very much. Hewas a Fortune 500 business leader, corporate executive, real estate broker, professional speaker and adjunct lecturer.

Gregg was committed to and loved life-long learning. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis in 2006, a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in 2008 and his law degree from Nashville School of Law in 2010.After passing the Tennessee Bar and wrapping up his corporate career, Gregg became a practicing attorney in 2015.  Practice areas included Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate, Family Law and Real Estate in the Nashville and Chattanooga areas.

Gregg was also a private pilot alongside his wife, co-pilot and best friend, Tami and enjoyed traveling across our nation’s beautiful countryside.  He was a member of the American Bonanza Association.

At this time, there will be no public service. The family will plan and schedule a Celebration of Life and will announce the occasion to family and friends.  We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

Memorial contributions or donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation honoring the sacrifice of our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
