Kimberly DeSha Crowder, 55, of Chattanooga passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. Kim was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a graduate of Tyner High School Class of 1980, and attended Chattanooga State Community College. Kim was an avid reader and loved a new book with crisp pages to turn for the first time by her hands.
Kim worked in the medical field for most of her adult life. She was a loyal and hard worker that always had time for a kind word and a smile. Kim loved to talk and spend time with family and friends. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Don Hayes DeSha Sr. and Jo Anne Moore DeSha; husband, William “Porky” McKinney, and beloved cousin, Susan DeSha Headrick Grant.
Survivors include husband, Aaron Crowder; daughter, Kathryn “Katy” McKinney Sansom; grandsons, Will Hof and Austin Sansom; brother, Don Hayes DeSha Jr. and wife Hilda and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at a date to be announced.
