James Mark Gilpatrick, 61, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away, Sunday, March 3, 2024. Mark was born on September 22, 1962 in Livingston, Tennessee to Bruce & Anna Evans Gilpatrick, but lived in Chattanooga until his death.
Mark is survived by his parents, Bruce & Anna Evans Gilpatrick; nieces, Breahna Gilpatrick Tittle (Taylor), Raven Gilpatrick Kennedy (Eric) and Lindsey Gilpatrick Tinsley (Jason); great-niece Ireland Anna Christine Kennedy; and great-nephew, Tristen Lake Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl & Edwina Gilpatrick, and Jim and Effie Evans all of Livingston, Tennessee; sister, Kathy Gail Gilpatrick, and brother, Terry Clark Gilpatrick both of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Mark graduated from Boyd-Buchanan school, class of 1981. He also attended TMI & MTSU and played football at each school. Mark worked in asphalt paving-seal coating, Buds Sports Bar and TDOT maintenance Division.
Even though he has been called home by his Father, Mark’s spirit will dwell always in the hearts of those who knew him.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m. at Tyner Church of Christ, 6620 Bonny Oaks Drive with Minister John Cupp officiating.
