Karen Margaret Allen, age 53, departed this world for her eternal home with Jesus on March 26, 2024. She was proceeded in death by her mother Barbara Krzic. She is survived by her beloved family: husband Ty, daughters Ashley and Anna, son-in-law Andrew Kirby, father Anton Krzic, brothers Tony and Jayson and their families.
Karen was born on January 1, 1971, in Geneva, Ohio, and was reborn in 2002 when she trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior. She graduated from Kent State University with a business degree and served, most recently, as CFO of Chosen Products. Karen married the love of her life Ty on March 8, 1997, and together they were blessed to build multiple businesses and raise two loving daughters. Karen was a caring sister and daughter, a devoted wife, a selfless mother, and a loyal friend. She loved welcoming people into her home and could spend hours chatting with her friends (often while on a run).
Karen leaves behind a legacy of faithful service and sacrificial love. From teaching toddlers in Sunday school, to hosting and cooking for her loved ones, to prayerfully homeschooling her girls, she lived her life in service to Jesus and others. Thank you, Karen, for exemplifying a Proverbs 31 woman.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stanley Heights Baptist Church, 1512 McBrien Rd, Chattanooga, TN. Pastor Brent Baughman and Pastor Bruce Stewart will conduct the service in the church at 1 p.m.
