Liz Reed Robinson died on November 7, 2019.
She loved her Lord and was grounded in His Word. When she prayed aloud, the tone of her voice reflected her intimate relationship with Christ.
Liz was years ahead of her time, respecting tradition while looking for innovative ways to accomplish what God called her to do. She loked and acted much younger than her age.
One morning during a recent hospitalization, she informed her daughter of their need to create stationary, specifying lavender paper with dark lavender ink. She instructed that we write our spiritual beliefs on “Page One.” She then “dictated” our statement of faith.
“We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, died on Calvary’s cross for our inequities. We trust in Him for the salvation of our souls. We thank Him for the joy of living and knowing Him. We want our lives to count for Him.”
Liz paused and asked her daughter to contribute a line. Her daughter added “We believe all we have comes from God.” Liz finished their “creed” with “We look forward to His return.
