William Dale Estep, Sr., 77, of Collegedale, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019. A native of Broad Top City, Pennsylvania, he spent the last thirty-nine years in the Collegedale area. He was a member of Cedar Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church in Georgetown, TN. He enjoyed classic cars, photography, and most of all, computers.
During his lifetime, Bill was employed at Savages (local grocery store), Review & Herald Publishing, Adventist Book Center, Brook Grove Nursing Home, Hinsdale Sanitarium & Hospital, Kettering Medical Center, and Southern Adventist University where he retired in 2004.
He is survived by his devoted wife of fifty-six years, Gloria Jean Boyd Estep; his son, W. Dale, Jr. (Abigayle); daughters, Cheryl (Tracy) Ashmore, Leslie (Tim) Edgecomb; grandchildren, Britni (Nichalous), Anna, and Aaron; great-grandsons, Leon and Ryder; four step-sisters and 2 step-brothers; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Annie Estep Gruber; grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Estep.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church, McDonald, TN followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m.
