Alvan Delano Bivens age 89, from Trenton, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, he also called Granby and Kansas City Missouri home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Emma Ethel; his loving wife, Ruby Bivens; brothers, Robert and James; sister, Helen Haggard and two granddaughters, Tina Williams and Sonia Clogston both of Blue Springs Missouri.

Survived by daughters, Gloria Jean Williams of Blue Springs, Missouri and Terry (Ben) Biggs of Harrison, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Dawn (RayJoe) Kleoppel and Matthew Biggs; six great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters; nieces Carolyn Garren, Shirley Collier, Fran Mitchell and Debbie Sisko and nephew, Ronnie Walker with several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private ceremony to be determined later at his last resting place, Mount Washington Cemetery Independence, Missouri.
