Andrew "Andy" Lomber, beloved father, devoted friend, and unwavering perfectionist, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at the age of 69. A man of strength and resilience, he overcame polio as an infant and carried its challenges with quiet determination throughout his life.
Andy is survived by his siblings: Lana (Ted) Hodgson, Pat (Tammy) Lomber, Ken (Linda) Lomber and his children: Shane (Jessica) Lomber, Casey Lee (Andrew Gordon) Lomber-Gordon, Cameron (Sarah Dunn) Lomber, and Alicia Lomber, along with his seven grandchildren, Hailey and Makenna Lomber, Anndru Lomber-Ginoza and Deven Gordon, Ophelia and Beau Lomber, Murphy Patnode, and the many "self-adopted" children whose lives he touched.
More than anything, he was an extraordinary father-our guiding force, our teacher, and our greatest supporter. He expected nothing less than excellence and led by example, filling our lives with love, wisdom, and unforgettable gourmet meals. Beneath his gruff exterior was a heart full of unwavering love and loyalty.
A fighter, a friend, and a man who made a lasting impact on everyone he met, Andy is now at peace, reunited with his first best friend-his mother. Though we wish we had more time, we are forever grateful for the moments we shared. His love, lessons, and legacy will live on in us always.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Andy's favorite charity, Smile Train www.smiletrain.org
, to honor his memory.
