Barbara Jean Hughes, 78, went to be with our Lord October 13, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. She dearly loved our Lord and her family. She was born in Rossville, Georgia and reared in North Georgia, Chattanooga area.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Hughes, Sr.; parents, Dave and Helen Copinger Templeton; sons, Timothy Hughes and Charles "Charlie" Hughes Jr.; brothers, J. D. Templeton and Howard Templeton.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Gary) Colwell and Deanna (Ernie) McCarson; son, Charles (Lisa) McDaniel and eight grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.

The family expresses sincere gratitude to Life Care Center of Collegedale and Amedisys Hospice for the exceptional care provided.
