Barbara Ellis Kress, 84 of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019.

She retired from Provident Insurance Company after working for more than 30 years. She was a member of Brainerd Presbyterian Church and Christian Family House Church.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Ellis and brother, Fred Ellis.

Survivors include her husband, William Kress, Jr.; sister, Carolyn Ellis Kress; step-son, Billy (Jennifer) Kress and step-daughter, Lee (Bob) Holley; five step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, November 21 at 2:30p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
