Benjamin Keith Young born November 9, 1952, passed away December 12, 2016 in Ooltewah, TN.

Keith was born in Chattanooga, TN and was a 1972 graduate of Shenandoah Valley Academy in Virginia. He received two degrees in Computer Technology. He worked in the 1970s and 1980s at a large Washington D.C. company managing computer main-frames. These were the beginning years of computers; later building computers as a favorite hobby. He was an umpire for the Northern Virginia Softball Umpires Association for 20 years. He loved watching sports and HGTV. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots and always had a funny story to tell. He was of the Adventist faith and a member of Collegedale Community Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter & Jeanne Krueger of Ooltewah. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Angela; father, Dr. Benjamin & Charlotte Young of Maine; son, Jeffery; daughter Mary Ann (Bryan) Thomas; son, Jason (Niki) Kenner; his precious grandchildren, Arissa & Knox Kenner; sister, Rheba (Jonathan) McGraw; brother, Dwight (Kathy) Young; sister, Jenny (Jeff) Lingerfelt as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
