Bettie Joyce Tackett,71, of Rossville, died Monday, September 25, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Cleveland and Jeanette Cothran Tackett, siblings, Clyde Tackett, Harold Tackett and Dennis Tackett, son, Jamie Lamar Beavers and a grandson, Harold Dennis Lee III.

Surviving are two daughters, Ailene Skiles and Vicki Lee; a son, Ricky Lee Beavers; sisters, Karen Tackett and Charlotte Gilliam; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Denny Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Joe Kelly will conduct the service at 4 p.m. in the church.
