Betty Jane Fisher, 83, of Whitwell, TN passed away on Sunday, October 17th, 2021 at Parkridge Medical Center. Betty was born in St. Louis, MO in 1938. She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Baptist Church. Betty moved from Cedar Lake, IN with her husband Jim in 1995. She lived in Tennessee for 26 years. She worked for Wal-Mart for 8 years before retiring in 2003. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, James D. Fisher, mother Elizabeth Heflin, father Charles Heflin, brothers William Davidson and Todd Heflin, and sister Anna Mae Lauer. Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Kuhns, Shelly Hartz, Kelly Eastling, James T. Fisher, James D. Fisher, and Tracy Huddleston. Grandchildren include, Sarah Sykes, David Eastling, Mindy Eastling, Christi Kuhns, Christopher Fisher, Kyle Eastling, Derek Hartz, Cissy Fisher, Nina Hartz, Hunter Huddleston, and Colton Huddleston. And 9 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Viewing from 11:00 to 1:00. The funeral will be immediately after at 1:00. Internment following funeral. The family would like to extend special thanks to Calvary Independent Baptist Church for the use of their facilities.
