Betty Jane Oliver Harmes, age 80, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Betty was a career long haul truck driver and loved every minute of it. She was predeceased by her son, Donald "Donnie" Owens; her parents, Benjamin and Eloise Oliver; siblings, Danny Ray, Wanda Sue, Nancy Mae and James Franklin. Survivors include husband, Jake Harmes; sons, Jerry Owens and Daniel Means; daughter, Donna Gifford; siblings, Don Oliver, Kenneth Oliver, Becky Oliver and Ricky Oliver; grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Nicole Witherow and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21 from 11a.m. to 3p.m. at The Lord's House, 4900 Bill Jones Road, Apison, TN. Brother Don Oliver and Don Oliver, Jr. will conduct the funeral in the church at 3p.m.
