Beverly Mams Myers, age 81, passed away at home, in Tennessee, on February 6, 2022, with her family by her side. Mams attended school in Orono, Maine prior to embarking on a 30 plus year career in the field of mental health. Mams chose to work the overnight shift so as not to take away from being a Mom to her five children.

Mams was an avid reader, and could often be found sitting in the warmth of the Tennessee sun reading the latest Danielle Steel novel. Mams also enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Mams took pride in the creations she made with her knitting, crocheting and sewing. She made for those she loved, afghans, sweaters, mittens, pajamas, etc. Those are treasures that will remain part of any of us lucky to receive them.

Mams was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Beverly Howes; husband, Alexander Myers; sons, Michael and Bruce Myers, and siblings, Paul and Hilda.

Mams is survived by her children, George Myers, Brenda Myers, both of Ooltewah Tennessee, and Brian Myers (Amy) of Orono Maine, as well as three grandchildren, Alexandra and Mitchell Myers of Orono, Maine and Jamie Myers of Ooltewah, Tennessee. Mams is also survived by five siblings, Hilman , Floyd (Gail), David, Danny and Rose Howes; several nieces & nephews. Lastly, she leaves behind three grand fur babies, Jackson, Itty Bit and Candy.

At Mams request, a Celebration of Life will be held in her home state of Maine at a later date.
