Billie Pearl May, 86, passed away, Monday, Oct 3, 2016, at his home in Chattanooga Tennessee.
Billie was born January 2, 1930 in Chicago IL, to Pearl and Ethel May. Billie is survived by his wife Lorraine Ann (Gregones) May, his two children; Ninette and her husband Jack Morse and Billy May and his wife Wanda. He is also survived by four grandchildren Amanda, April, Samantha and Maxwell, and three great grandchildren Isabella, Kaiden and Drake.
Billie was a United States Veteran who served with distinction in the Korean War. After his military service, Billie married the love of his life Lorraine, and lived lifes adventure together for the next 62 years. Billie loved all sports and was a lifelong football fan of the Arizona Cardinals. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and traveled extensively across the United States visiting almost every state in the nation. In 1983, with his wife Lorraine by his side, Billie retired and moved to Kissimmee and spent a glorious 30 Years enjoying retirement in the warm Florida sun.
At his request no funeral service will be held but a remembrance gathering will announced at a later date. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga TN.
