Billy J. "Jody" Woods, 43, passed away on Feb, 27 2021. Born to Brenda and Larry Woods on April 7, 1977. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN. He attended Ooltewah High School class of "96".

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry E. Woods and grandmother, Roberta Boyd.

He will be missed by his mother, Brenda L. Woods; grandmother, Betty Shelby; brothers, Franklin (Samantha) Woods, Anthony (Donna) Woods, Larry (Contessa) Woods; sister, Sarah (Thomas) Boone; fianc, Stephanie Silvers and son, James Silvers with 13 nieces and nephews and 6 great-nieces and nephews. Billy enjoyed life to the fullest and could change anyones mood for the better with his smile and personality!

He had a love for football and his favorite team was Alabama! We will never forget Billy for his affectionate smile and ability to bring joy and laughter to everyone around him!

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1-9p.m. and Saturday, from 11-1p.m. in The Lords House in Apison, TN.
