Bruce Brown "Brownie" Bennett, Jr., 61, went home to his Lord on December 6th, 2024. Born in Chattanooga, Bruce spent most of his life in the city he loved.
A talented musician, master luthier, and inventor, Bruce's passion for music began at a young age when he started playing the piano. His love for music became his life's work, leading him to custom build guitars and share his skills generously with anyone eager to learn. Bruce was not only a collector of collections but also a purveyor of fine guitars, leaving a lasting legacy in the music community.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bruce Brown Bennett, Sr. and Barbara Batts Bennett.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Bennett; daughter, Ayla (Doug) Brown; son, Chris (Paige) McJunkin; sister, Amy Bennett (Michael) Clements and four cherished grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 1:30 p.m. at Omega Harvest Ministries Center, 4904 Dayton Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37415. Friends and family are invited to bring their instruments for one last jam session with Bruce. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched so many with his music and kindness.
