Carolyn LeeAnna Ritchie Mathis, 57, of Whitwell, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. She was of the Church of God faith.

She was predeceased by her beautiful mother Loretta Ritchie Nance. Survivors include her dad, Richard Ritchie, her sons Bryan RItchie, Jimmie Dye, Jr., David Dye, Brandon Dye (Cindra), James 'Cain' Mathis, and her daughter Brandy Miller (Blaine). Her grandchildren include Lindsey Somers, Logan Somers, LeeAnna Miller, Katie Miller, Drake Dye, Aalyiah Dye, Allie Thornbury, Baylie Dye and Jayden Masters. Her brothers, Alvin Ritchie (Gwen), James Ritchie (Lisa), Ricky Ritchie, and Tony Ritchie. Several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was known for her red hair and spit fire personality. She loved her chidren and grandchildren, she was an outstanding cook, a natural poetry writer, and had a love for butterflies. She will be missed by many.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
