In Loving Memory of Carolyn Ruth Ragan, February 16th, 1953 to June 29th, 2025. Chattanooga, Tennessee "The memory of the righteous is a blessing." - Proverbs 10:7 With deep love and gratitude, we remember the life of Carolyn Ruth Ragan-a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. Carolyn had a remarkable gift for nurturing young hearts and minds. As a preschool teacher for over thirty years, she helped shape the lives of countless children. Though our hearts grieve her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of Jesus, rejoicing in the glory of Heaven, healed and whole. Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband of forty-six years, Jerry Ragan; her son, Tim Ragan (Rachel); her daughter, Sarah Ragan Griffith (Daniel); and her treasured grandchildren: Harrison, Kingston, Adeline, Caleb, and Melody. She is also survived by her sister, Bobbie Chapman (Spencer), and a loving extended family of nieces and nephews. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Arvil and Ruth Jones; her brother, Donnie Jones; and her sister, Martha Dyer. Services will be held on July 3rd, 2025.
