Carolyn McKenzie Smith, 73, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024. "The Kindest Soul that has ever lived" Carolyn was born in Flatwoods, KY on February 22, 1951 to Helen Cantrell & Ralph McKenzie. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a teaching degree. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, George Smith; children, Aaron (Shauna) Smith, Andrea (Pat) Strong; grandchildren, Alli & Brayden; brother, Ron McKenzie; niece, Heather McKenzie and nephew, Keith McKenzie. A celebration of life will be held September 15, 2024 at Brown's Ferry Marina, 648 Browns Ferry Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37419 from 1p.m. to 4p.m.
