Charles Ray Broadwell, age 93, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Era. A dedicated family man, he spent many years coaching his children's football and baseball teams, cherishing every moment on the field with them. In his free time, he was an avid fisherman who enjoyed nothing more than a quiet day on the water. He was also mechanically inclined and took great pride in building birdhouses, a hobby that reflected his patience and craftsmanship.

He was predeceased by his brother, James C. Broadwell and sister, Norma Jean Ogle.

He was survived by his wife, Jan Broadwell; sons, Michael & Jeanne Broadwell and Mark Broadwell & Sandy.
