Charlie Morgan, of Red Bank, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the age of 74.

Charlie was born on June 4, 1952, to the late Oather Alex Morgan and Flora Jean Morgan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Morgan; his son, Heath Morgan (Leslie) ; his daughters, Jennifer Morgan Griffin and Shelly Morgan Holdren; and his stepdaughters, Kelly Defer Anderson and Shanna Defer. Charlie was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him tremendous joy.

Also left to cherish Charlie's memory are his brothers, Don Morgan (Abbie) and Eddie Morgan; his sister, Missy Carlton (Ashley) ; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife, Connie Morgan; his sister, Faye Parks ( J.R.) ; his brothers, Freddie Morgan, J.R. Morgan, and Michael Morgan (Donna) ; and his stepfather, Jimmie Walker.

Charlie loved spending time with his family, especially the annual fishing trips back home to Morgan County, Tennessee. Those trips held a special place in his heart, as he enjoyed fishing, wading and reminiscing through the same creek where he, his brothers, sister, and cousins had played in as children. These treasured family traditions created memories that will be carried on for generations.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service at 3 p.m. on Wednesday July 15, 2026 at Bald Hill Cemetery, in Birchwood, TN. to celebrate Charlie's life, honor his memory, and say their final goodbyes. Service details will be announced by the family.
