Obituary

Clifton F. (Cliff) ONeil, 93 died September 8, 2018.

He was a B-29 navigator in WWII, F-84 jet fighter pilot in Korea, first flew supersonically in 1954, FAA instrument flight instructor to many, and instructed other pilots in aerobatic flight.

Cliff was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Idell.

He is survived by: sons Greg (Gina) ONeil of Chattanooga, Mike ONeil of Marietta, GA; daughter Susan ONeil (Carol Goss) of Riverview, FL; grandchildren Ryan (Kathryn) ONeil of Hixson, Jennifer (Simon) ONeil Hoddinott of England; great-granddaughters Hannah Hoddinott and Ellie Hoddinott of England, Riley ONeil of Hixson.

Cliff founded Kick-Shaw, Inc. (Fiberglass Church Products) Co.) in 1956 and worked there until 2016.

He was a lifelong member of Central Church of Christ in Chattanooga.

According to Cliffs wishes, no memorial service will be held and burial will be private.
