Dakota Shane Leamon, 37, left this world on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, taking pieces of our hearts with him.

He was preceded in death by his Papaw & Granny Carl & Mary Ellen Jones whom he adored, uncles Steve Jones and Doug Wade, his Papaw & Mamaw Albert & Margaret Leamon. He most recently lost his best friend Brandon Hadorn three and a half weeks ago.

He is survived by his mom, Lisa Jones (Darryl); brother, Dallas Leamon (Tasha), Fiancée Tandi Staton, Gracie Staton who was already like his daughter, special aunt and uncle Ruth & Roy Blackwell, Aunts, Carlotta Wade and Rhonda Jones, special cousins that loved him dearly, Martha & David Staton who already loved him like their son-in-law, and Dad Doug Leamon (DeeAun), and so many others that loved him beyond words.

Dakota was an avid lover and collector of guns, and a very skilled sharpshooter. He was an amazing powder coater for many years. He was a member of Conasauga Lodge #396, F. & A.M. He loved his family and was very protective. His love of the outdoors was unexplainable. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sitting by a fire, but camping was his absolute favorite. We pray that all his loved ones were waiting with open arms and that his beloved 150-pound Great Dane Ike was the first to get to him. We will think of you every day, we will miss you for the rest of our lives, and we will love you beyond eternity.
