Dan Phillips, 76, of Graysville, GA passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Dan attended LaSalle University Ext. and was a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He served in the funeral industry for more than 50 years as a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the states of GA, TN, NC & IL. Dan was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church where he enjoyed teaching Sunday School and writing Bible studies. He was Past Master of his masonic lodge as well as a Scottish Rite Mason and Noble of the Alhambra Shrine. One of Dans many hobbies was photographing the outdoors.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Imogene; children, Joe, James, Erin, Brian and Madison; stepdaughter, LeAnn and many grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1 in New Liberty Baptist Church, 923 Graysville Road, Graysville, GA 30736 from noon to 2 p.m. The Rev. Danny Henson and Pastor Michael Turner will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. in the church. Interment will follow in New Liberty Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Liberty Cemetery Fund.
