Deborah Joyce Barnes-Gable Williams, age 68, passed away peacefully on June 7th, 2026.
Deborah's life was defined by her quiet resilience, her personal passions, and her unwavering faith. She loved God and Jesus deeply, carrying her faith with her through all of life's moments.
When her grandchildren were young, Deborah was a steady presence in their lives, helping to raise them during those important formative years. She also found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially cooking for those around her and spending peaceful days out fishing.
In her last months, Deborah found tranquility in her daily routine. She spent her days on her porch, finding kinship with wildlife and nature, creating a welcoming space for the many squirrels, skunks, birds, and other creatures who came to visit her. Her gentle spirit and her unique connection to nature will be remembered by those who knew her.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Alpha Joyce Gardner and Ted Edward Barnes, and her brother, Roger Barnes.
She is survived by her sister, Gail Cordle; her brother, Wendell Barnes; her brother, David Revis; Hre sisters-in-Christ, Evelyn and Samantha; her children, Jonathan Gray, Emily Womack, and Joseph Young; and her grandchildren, Cherish Womack, Lauren Gentry, Samantha Buchanan, Evan Womack, Olivia Stephens, Gabriel Womack, Ethan Young, and Leslie, Chandler, and Nicholas Gray.
Services to celebrate Deborah's life will be announced by the family as details are finalized.
