Dewrane "Dodie" Bernadette Baldwin was born in El Paso, Texas, on December 17, 1955. At age 69 she went home to be with her Lord on April 28, 2025. God gifted her with a servant's heart. That was her strength throughout her career in service, and as a gracious and enthusiastic host in her home. She was generous and given to hospitality, as the Apostle Paul named as attributes of a Christian. She never knew a stranger. After retiring, and until her passing, she was involved in her church activities, and in keeping a beautiful and comfortable home for her family. She was a graduate of Grove Port High School in Columbus, Ohio, and attended higher level training within her industry throughout her career. Dodie was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth Paul Richmond and Anne Augustine (Hoermann) Mayfield. She also was predeceased by her sister Verna Marie (Richmond) Stewart. She is survived by her husband, William Wightman Baldwin; her son, Michael Edward Sayre; sister, Sheila Anne (Richmond) Walker; and brother Kenneth Anthony. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Dodie's life will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 2:00 p.m. Location is Lakeview Baptist Church, 3450 New Lake Rd, Spring City, Tennessee, 37381.
