Don B. Puryear, Jr. "Junior", 64, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 20th, 2026. Junior was a loving son and brother. He loved family reunions/gatherings spending time with his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew.

Junior was predeceased by his brother, Lawrence "Peewee" Puryear.

Survivors include his parents, Don and Arlette Puryear; sisters, Lisa (George) Cupp, Danita (Richie) Fansler, nieces and a nephew.

The family will hold a friends and family reunion in his honor on Saturday, October 24 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brown's Ferry Road Church of Christ in the Fellowship Hall behind the church building. Junior and Peewee shared a great love for each other. The family will also honor Peewee at this gathering.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
