Donald Earl Poe, 91, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022. He was the son of the late Will and Nora Poe. Don lived most of his life in Chattanooga and was a graduate of Kirkman Technical High School. He worked as a machine shop foreman at Combustion Engineering. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Alma, of Chattanooga, daughters Sandra Bassett, of Jacksonville, FL, Deborra Stout and Dawn Bailey (Rich), both of Chattanooga, granddaughters, Stacey Bright and Alexandra Bailey, and great-grandson, Miles Bright. He is also survived by his brother, Luther (Pete) Poe. He was preceded in death by grandson, Heath Stout. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
