Donald Michael Taylor, age 66, of Chattanooga, passed away on August 17, 2020. Donnie was the son of the late Cecil and Loretta Taylor and is survived by his brother, Ron Taylor; his sister, Faye Hope and several nieces and nephews. He graduated from Tyner High School. Donnie was a mechanic and owner/operator of a Chattanooga service station, South Market Exxon. He later owned his own auto repair shop, Taylor's Auto Repair.

He loved car racing on the dirt track and if he didn't go to a race, he watched NASCAR Races on television.

A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the Chattanooga Rescue Mission in Donnie's honor.
