Donna Jane (Prowant) Carnahan, age 82, of Collegedale, TN, passed away on October 15, 2021 with her three children by her side.

Donna was born on November 29, 1938, in Lebanon, Kansas, the second of four children to Derral and Lola (Reeve) Prowant. Donna was a stay-at-home mom that always had breakfast, dinner, and supper ready daily. She could be found at her sewing machine when not playing catch or reading stories to her kids. With her love of reading, she started working at the Adventist Book Center in Collegedale, TN. When her kids were grown, she got her CNA license and cared for Alzheimers patients until she retired. She has made a quilt for every child, grandchild and great-grandchild.

She is survived by her sons, William R. (Nancy) Burkett, Leland M. (Tina) Burkett; daughter, Randi J. (Boyd) Buhl; two brothers, eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
