Douglas L. Jacobs, age 78, departed this earth on November 18, 2016 for his heavenly home. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Judith, his 5 children Jay, Joy, Jill, Rhonda, and Margo, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He was a very loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Born and raised in Denver, he worked at Olan Mills for 32 years as a photographic engineer and taught at UTC for 17 years. He graduated from Nova University with a PhD in Information Systems.

A memorial visitation will be Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Ridgedale Baptist Church, Chattanooga, TN in the Atrium.
