Ernest Dean Clark was born in Kansas on November 15, 1930. He passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, aged 94, after a fall that left him bedfast for about a week. He was preceded in death by his wife Freda Ross Clark, on April 27, 2024. He outlived parents Earl and Grace Clark and all 5 of his siblings. Survivors include daughter, Daina (David) Hakes; son Dennis (Beth) Clark; grandchildren, Scott (Marie Elena) Hakes, Karri (Bryan) Macri, Corbin (Madison) Clark, Mason (Alyanna) Clark; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Stewart. Ernest worked as a pastor in the South and Midwest for over 40 years in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. His strong work ethic contributed to much success in his ministry and life. Ernest was well-known for his musical talents which included singing accompanied by Freda and for playing the saw at the Christmas program every year at the University Church in Collegedale, TN. Together, with Freda, they produced musical CD's and tapes giving many of them away. Ernest was also known for his large garden, and sold a lot of tomatoes and vegetables that he grew. Ernest truly will be missed!
