Elisa Ann Hobgood (Daniel) of Flintstone, GA was born in Chattanooga, TN on May 18, 1963, took her last fighting breath on July 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving daughters, son-in-laws, and mother. Elisa went to Lakeview High School, class of 1982. As a child, she was a little dancing queen. In her youth, she enjoyed playing basketball, tennis, and softball/baseball. She worked various jobs after that with the public and eventually became a braiser at GEM. She was a wild child living her best life. Being around her, there was never a dull moment, especially with all the animals she had as pets. She had the best personality and greatest sense of humor. Her favorite thing was to make people happy and laugh, as her laugh itself was contagious. If you could see her eyes...she wasn't laughing. If you know her and our family, you know what we mean. She enjoyed time with her family and friends whether it was playing cards and board games, or dancing and singing. She just loved life and lived it to the fullest. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Barney and Robbie Morgan, Bud and Blanche Daniel; sister, Marci Patterson; brothers, Tracy Daniel and Brian Daniel; and uncles, Barney Wayne Morgan and James Charles Morgan. She is survived by her parents, Judy (John) Faulkner and Steve Daniel; daughters, April (Jonathan) Cantrell and Morgan Holmes (Wade Olney); grandchildren, Seth (Yasmine) Bice and Samantha Smith; great- grandchildren, Leanna, Lincoln, Karmyn, and Keegan; brothers, Chris (Nicole) Daniel, Jason (Amanda) Daniel; baby girl, Nelli; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this difficult time. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at a later date.
