Emma Jo Simmons, 84 of Hixson, TN passed away on September 19.

She was a lifelong member of the Baptist faith and a current member of ABBAs House in Hixson, TN.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arles Simmons; grandson, Dereck Simmons and brother, Curtis Griffin.

Survivors include her son, Clay (Sharon) Simmons; daughter, Mitzie (Ronnie) Hale; son, Kelly (Missy) Simmons; four grandchildren, Amanda Hicks, Colt (Derika) Simmons, Jade (Jeffrey) Watts and Tyler (Lela) Simmons; five great-grandchildren, Rachael Hicks, Brantley & Levi Watts, Sawyer Simmons and Jayen Simmons; brother, Charles (Jane) Griffin; sister-in-law, Kathrine Griffin and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm at ABBAs House of Hixson on Thursday, September 22. Pastor Ronnie Phillips, Jr. will conduct the service at 1pm in the church.

Interment will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park following the service.
