Esther Lee Cleven, 93, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away, Tuesday, December 23, 2025. She was a life-long member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was the State Regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution in multiple states. She was also a member of the United Daughter's of the Confederacy. She was a member of Republican Women's Association. She was an accomplished pianist. She was predeceased by her husband, Colonel Gale "Buck" W. Cleven; parents, Dalton & Blanche Athey. Survivors include her brothers; Dalton H. (Charlotte) Athey, II, Dale (Sammy) Athey; sister, Chris Straub; many nieces & nephews; caregiver niece of twelve years, Bonnie Lee Athey Oyre. Pastor Jason Vyhmeister will conduct a graveside service on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Collegedale Memorial Park at noon.
