Eva Ruth 'Bootsie' Spencer, 93, of Ringgold, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 16, 2023. She married the love of her life, George, in 1946 and together they served the Lord.

She loved to cook and to host friends and family at her home. She loved traveling and adventure and being with her family. She was always up for a Jeep ride with her grandson. She was creative and enjoyed making beautiful things, decorating, and discussing design with her granddaughter. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed baseball and hockey and loved the Atlanta Braves. She was an avid reader. But above all, she enjoyed helping others. She resided mainly in Tennessee and Georgia.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, George Spencer; parents, Edward and Fannie Beaver; sisters, Wilma Urice, Ruby Milhous, Margaret Phillips; brothers Bill Beaver, Al Beaver.

Survivors include her daughter, Gina (Tom) Larson; grandson, Spencer Larson; granddaughter, Adriel (Josh) Soper; great-grandson, DJ Soper; niece, Sandra Threlkeld; and many other loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Brainerd Hills Church of God on Friar Road in Chattanooga, TN from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Brother Phil Renslow will conduct the service in the church at 12:30 p.m.

Interment to follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
