Florence Eva Miller Storch, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Our mom, Florence Eva Storch, was born on October 14, 1938, in Canton Ohio to Henry and Frankie Miller. With three brothers, Mom held her own, and she truly was the reason the family stayed close after the passing of their parents. She graduated from Aultman School of Nursing and spent 30+ years in a career she was meant to be in. In 1959 she married her high school sweetheart, Gary Lee Storch, and they represented the epitome of marriage for 61 years.

"Nanny" loved time with her grandchildren. Nicole, Erica, Natalie, Nathan, and Nicky were the light of her life. They are blessed with the wonderful memories of time spent with Nanny.

Mom was a rock. No matter how bad you may have thought a situation was, our mom was the steadying force to help you navigate through the tough times. She helped her family, her friends, and even her patients when they needed her most.

We will miss her terribly, but we know everyone who knew her is incredibly blessed with memories that will brighten their day, and our pain is lessened with this knowledge.

Mom is survived by her love of 61 years, Gary Storch, her oldest son David Storch, her daughter Kimberly Stanley (Rick), and her youngest son, Chad (Rebecca) Storch. Her grandchildren Nicole Rose (Mike), Erica Condra (John), Natalie Storch, Nathan Storch, and Nicky Storch.

A celebration of Moms life will be held in the Spring of 2021 in North Canton, Oh.
