Frances E. Bales went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2018 at Memorial North Park Hospital. She was 81 years young. She was of the Pentecostal faith and dedicated to her church where she was proud to be a Sunday school teacher to the little ones, which she referred to as "her kids".

Mrs. Bales is survived by her husband, Chester N. Bales, to whom she was married to for half a century, and her children, Tina, Hope, Billy and Dale, with many grandchildren/great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Bales is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Roger "Tag" Holder and many more nieces/nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Maybell and JW Hodge; three sisters, Lola Daniel, Dean Friddell, Liz Robinson and five brothers, William, Leon, Jr, Hubert and Jimmy Hodge.

Mrs. Bales will be interred at Old McDonald Cemetery Friday after the funeral. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 17th 2018 from 5- 8 pm and 11-1pm Friday, May 18 at The Oasis Revival Center in Birchwood, TN. All are welcome to attend the "Celebration of Life" for Frances E. Bales.
