Frances Boley Benge, 72, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2024. In her last moments she expressed her joy at the prospect of meeting Jesus, her Savior and Friend, and shared her desire that all of her friends and family know Him, too.

A native of Boone, Colorado, she had a heart for children and dedicated her life to teaching students in Colorado, Texas, and Tennessee. After completing her teaching career in 2012, she spent the latter years of her life ministering to children in Cameroon, Guyana, and South Carolina. Theres no telling how many lives she impacted across the country and around the globe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Boley; her granddaughter, Jordan Grace Dickman; her parents, Ophir and Velma Ballard; her siblings, Rhoda and Michael Ballard.

Frances is survived by her five children: MaryBeth Hall (Bill), Priscilla Boley, Judith Dickman (Jamie), Jonathan Boley (Bonnie), and David Boley (Ashley); her three step-children: Katrina Fahey (Cullen), Hannah Benge, and Nathan Benge (Rachael); her husband, Leff Benge; her sixteen grandchildren: William, Peter, Bethany, and Felicity Hall; Joseph, James, Judah, and John Dickman; Wesley and Ellis Boley; Aubree, Italia, and Roma Boley; William, Claire, and Marie Benge; her brothers, Jim, Richard, and Mark Ballard (Cindy); her sisters, Marcia Rice (Tom), Joan DeLong, and Sherrill Coberley (Harvey); brother-in-law, Sherman Boley (Alice); sister-in-law, Linda Ballard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The service will be held at Hickory Valley Baptist Church, where she was a member, and will be officiated by Dr. David Kemp and Dr. Mark Ballard.
