Gary Lamar Kines, 66, Chattanooga, TN completed his earthly journey on December 22, 2016 surrounded by his family who love and will miss him dearly.

Gary was predeceased by his father, Glenn Edward Kines and his brother, Glenn Steven Kines.

Gary is survived by his mother, Moral L. Kines; daughter, Margie Lawhorn; daughter-in-law, Julie Lawhorn; granddaughters, Kailee and Kendall Hill; niece, Katie Kines and great-nephews, Tyler Dunn, Matthew Dunn and Jarred Dunn.

Gary left us with his own words. He said life begins with love, not just words. Take action to help, giving of your time, of a smile. Encourage and lift someone up. Listen to them. Treat others how you want to be treated, with respect; dont judge. Be the same everyday to all. Be truthful, considerate and compassionate.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29 at St. Marks Methodist Church from noon 2pm followed by a graveside service conducted by Pastor Anna Golladay at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, East.
