George "Doug" Douglas Thomas, 49, of Smyrna, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at home. He loved music and playing guitar, as well as teaching guitar. He liked playing games with his friends and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was predeceased by his father, Johnny Ray Thomas; wife, Jennifer Darlene Kilgore. He is survived by his mother, Linda Frances Thomas of Ringgold, GA; sister, Lisa (Chuck) Renee Prescott of Webster, TX; niece, Mary (Gary) Brooke Johnson of Webster, TX; nephew Cameron (Stacey) Neal Prescott, and niece, Patricia (Rob Holmes) Leighanne Prescott; great niece & nephew and several cousins.
