Gloria Shadowens, 92, passed away peacefully, on December 31, 2024. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a Christian for sixty plus years and was a passionate soul winner. Gloria was the beloved widow of Joe L.G. Shadowens and the eldest of eight siblings. A devoted mother, she is survived by her children; Deborah (Herschel) Carlson, Dawn (Andy) Stowe, and Joe (Chelsea) Shadowens; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces & nephews; numerous friends. Her family was the light of her life, and her nurturing spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church, 13056 N Main St., Trenton, GA at 9 a.m. Pastor Tim Renshaw will conduct the service in the church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
