Gordon Edward Roberts, 80, of Melbourne, Florida and a native of Riceville, TN died Sunday, September 3, 2017.

He retired from the United State Air Force after 22 years of service. He was awarded the Bronze Star and several other honors.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Ernie & Stella (Colloms) Roberts; grandson, Andrew Roberts; brother, Gary Roberts and sister, Billye Faye Pirkle.Survivors include his wife, Judy C. Roberts of Melbourne; son, Terry & Pam Roberts; grandson, Ryan Roberts and two step-grandchildren all of Las Vegas, Nevada; step-daughter, Victoria Edge, step-granddaughter, Alison Baker of Cape Canaveral, FL; brothers, The Rev. Gilbert (Pearl) Roberts of Calhoun, TN; Glenn & (Norma) Roberts of Cleveland, TN; sisters, Barbara (Walter) Crox of Cleveland, TN; Sharon Roberts of Cleveland, TN and Becky (Phillip) Wells of Jonesboro, Arkansas with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As per his request there was no formal service.
