Grace Louise Cunningham Smith, 95, of Chattanooga, died July 9, 2014. She was born Oct. 9, 1918, in Chattanooga, to the late David M. Cunningham and Nancy Ann Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her husband David M. Smith, sisters Florence C. Smith and Irene C. Faircloth, twin brother Grady W. Cunningham, and nephew Francis J. Smith, all of Chattanooga. She worked for many years as an airbrush artist at Success Portrait Co. She loved all animals. She also loved to fish. She and her husband traveled extensively. She loved her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Survivors include her sister, Blanche C. Jewell, of Seminole, Florida; niece Diane J. Clarkson of Seminole, Florida; niece Frances S. Shackleford, nephew Robert C. Faircloth and sister-in-law Dorothy Day Cunningham, all of Chattanooga; sister-in-law Marjorie S. Jenkins of Dahlonega, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. The service will be Thursday, 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Jim Vick officiating. Visitation is at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Hall at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
