Harold Douglas Kirk, Sr., 89, passed away peacefully September 5, 2022.

He served in the Armys Heavy Mortar Company (5th R.C.T)-Korea.He was of Baptist Faith, and loved being with family and friends and enjoyed traveling and living at the Continental. He could always make us laugh.

Preceding Harold in death were his parents, Leonard J. and Bessie (Sparkman) Kirk, Sr.;daughter, Sharon Lea Rudofski; son Harold D. Kirk, Jr. and brother, Leonard J. Kirk, Jr.

Harolds memory will be cherished by his wife of 67 years, Virginia Mae (Jo) Ballew Kirk. Also his surviving children, daughter, Kimberly Ann Byrens, (Dr. David) Marshall, MI; sons, Ernest C. Kirk, (Dr. Claudia), Chattanooga, Edward A. (Dawn) Kirk, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Brittany Lighthall, Marshall, MI, Kirk Byrens, Lansing, MI, Harold D.Kirk, III (Trey), Memphis, TN, Lena Murrell, Memphis, TN, Joshua Kirk, Frankenmuth, MI, Daniel Kirk, Chattanooga, TN, Andrew Rudofski, Cleveland, OH, Jolene Elizabeth Ballew, McDonald, TN, as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the Continental in Chattanooga, from 2 p.m. 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
